Dear Autumn

Do you want to hear a little bit about my blogging process? It normally goes something like this... Upload outfit photos. Delete approximately a bajillion outtakes in which I'm pulling a stupid face. Find that I'm not left with many photos. Wonder why I always pose looking at my shoes?! Edit a few select photos in photoshop. Like them a lot more! Find that I can't decide between a few photos that generally look the same, but finally write up a post after a little nagging from Morne to get off the computer. Yup, that's how it goes...

Crazy blogging process aside, I'm so excited to be posting my first real autumn outfit! Like most people, I truly love this season. The leaves are starting to change and my drive to work is so pretty with all the beautiful autumn colour on the trees! I'm also excited to finally wear all the coats I've sort of been rambling on about over here. ;) I bought this Dear Creatures one in a Modcloth 'Cabin Fever' sale - I nabbed the very last one for around $50 (NZ), down from around $200! Awesome.

I wore this over the weekend when Morne and I headed into my work to celebrate the first year of business for the store I work in! I've worked there since we opened and I can't believe it's been a whole year. We ate caramel cheesecake and took silly pictures with my workmates before I had to head home to do assignments... blergh. This mid-semester break is turning out to be less 'break', more 'squeeze in as many hours at work as you can while finishing up the next wave of horrible assignments'... but that's ok. Being busy definitely makes you appreciate down-time when you get some!

I need to finish this up and head out the door really soon but first, do any of you  New Zealanders/Australians watch Offspring? We just had the season finale for the second season here in New Zealand and it's one of my absolute favourite shows. Were you team Patrick or Chris? Haha! I'm team Patrick so I was pretty happy with how this season ended! (And this crazy hilarious song from the first season still makes me laugh so hard).
