Hello! I'll warn you now - I pretty much love all the photos Morne and I got today, so this post may be a little picture heavy. When ever we come down here for photos we get too many I like and I'm really indecisive so.. here we are!
If you follow me on twitter you may have heard that I got a few things in the mail which I couldn't wait to style up on the blog - this dress is one of them! I didn't manage to snaffle anything up in the Modcloth sale but luckily for me, the gorgeous Kaelah did, and luckily for me, she put a few things that didn't fit her up in her shop! I couldn't buy this dress off her fast enough!
Now, there are several reasons why I totally adore this dress. 1. Its cute faux sweetheart neckline. 2. The unexpected exposed zipper at the back. 3. Its Tieka's namesake dress! I was going for a kind of grungy-cool look with the bomber jacket and boots, but I'm looking forward to wearing it with a pretty cardi and floral tights for a more girly look! It's a really versatile dress.
This shoot actually had two parts to it - over by the water and under the spring blossoms, and of course I can't decide which lot I like best so you're getting both. Lucky you, hehe. When Morne gets bored of taking outfit shots, he has a new favourite game he plays. He likes to intentionally partially cover the camera lens with his big blurry thumb, and watch me get angry as I review the ruined photos afterwards. He thinks it is very amusing. I don't agree. Bahah! He's naughty. Obviously we still had plenty of good photos, so I let him off with a warning... next time though, things are gonna get nasty. (Just kidding...)

Are you having a lovely weekend? The highlights of mine were sleeping in for the first time this week and making blueberry pancakes for me and my boy this morning! I have stock-take at work tonight which I'm dreading and an essay to finish but I have the afternoon to catch up on some blogs! Yay!
